異なる二つの方向性を持つ作家による本展は、互いの作品や実践を言語化・記述する試みを通じて、新たな作品制作へと展開されたものである。同世代の二人の作家が互いの実践に直接応答することで、従来の共同制作とは異なる協働のかたちが立ち上がる可能性が探られた。

This exhibition, created by two artists with distinct artistic directions, developed into a new form of artistic production through the attempt to verbalize and document each other’s works and practices. By directly responding to each other’s practices, the two artists of the same generation explore the possibility of a form of collaboration that differs from conventional modes of co-production.

“Lighthouse” is a series organized by switch point, in which external curators, critics, and researchers are invited to develop exhibition projects. The 12th edition was curated by critic Ryo Katsumata and featured a solo exhibition by Chiaki Haibara titled “Re-sewing Constellations.”
This book consists of the curator’s text and photographs documenting the exhibition.
